No single piece of our mental world is to be hermetically sealed off from the rest, and there is not a square inch in the whole world domain of our human existence over which Christ, who is sovereign over all, does not cry: “Mine!” Abraham Kuyper

Science, Religion and Technology Project

The SRTP was set up as the result of the vision of Dr Willie Robertson in 1970. His desire was that theologians should be in touch with technologists so that "the beam of theological thinking is pointed ... where it is needed to avoid the chaos".

Under its current Director, Donald Bruce, it now has an environment page, with links to aspects of its work.

The first couple of decades of the SRT are told in the book Technology at the Crossroads: The Story of the Society, Religion and Technology Project (St Andrew Press, 1994) by Ronald Ferguson.
